Project Name: Geothermal Heating and Cooling System in Portersville PA Location: Portersville PA Problem/Outcome: Customer wanted to upgrade a 15 year old Electric Heat Pump system to a more Energy Efficient Geothermal system. Customer reduced total heating and cooling expense by 60% annually. Description of Work: Installed 5 Geothermal wells, excavate trench into residence, cut and removed old concrete floors in basement and garage, install new concrete floors with HDPE in floor tube installed, insulated entire basement and garage with spray on foam system and installed additional insulation in existing structure. Site Size: 75 acres Duration of project: 4 months Equipment utilized on project: Excavator, Track loader, skid steer, drill rig, dump truck, concrete saws, concrete pumps. Task Completed- October 2009 |
