STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Shop Fabrication
- Complete fabrication and assembly of process control systems.
- Interface with various clients on prototype equipment and systems for recycling and remediation problems.
- Complete turnkey style systems for industrial clients, from conception of idea to completed product, with a small amount of formal drawings from customer.
Field Fabrication
- Complete assembly and startup of various large process systems for clients over the U.S.
- System design, equipment procurement and install same in the field with little customer supervision.
- Removal of various types of tanks, structures, buildings, equipment and other equipment related to industrial applications.
Field Services
- Set up, assembly and operation of various types of systems. Including oil/water separation, UV, Cooling Systems, GAC Units, RO Systems and many various types required in most industrial applications. Upon completion system is started and back on line.
- Supervision and operation of heavy equipment and personnel on remediation and construction sites.
- Complete installation of HDPE, stainless steel, carbon steel, PVC and other types of single and double wall pipe systems for process or industrial applications.
- Planning and construction of industrial buildings and equipment placement.
Construction Quality Control and Safety
- Supervision and quality control of various phases of remediation and construction projects.
- Training of site personnel on proper use and care of safety equipment and procedures.
- Onsite inspections of equipment, machinery, safety procedures and supplies.
CORPORATE RESOURCES
Construction and field services equipment includes a large variety of welding, burning, cutting, threading, rigging, excavating, land clearing, hoisting, piping, and electrical and various equipment needed to complete any job at hand. Any equipment needed which we do not own, we lease on a job specific basis from local equipment dealers. All leased equipment is fully decontaminated in accordance with project specific requirements.
Schoonover works with other area contractors and local shops for use of equipment when needed to expedite a project.

- Complete rebuilds of heavy equipment hydraulic systems for local contractors. (PA)
- Fabricated, assembled and tested pump/controls skids for a manufacturer of anaerobic digester systems. Pump/control skid consist of large process pumps, instrumentation (pH, temperature and flow controls), piping, valving, motor control center, control panel and computer data-logging system.
- Fabrication of metal removal and recovery system. (Golden, CO)
- Fabrication of a prototype soil washing system for an environmental remediation firm. (Pittsburgh, PA- Keystone Environmental Corporation/Beazer East)
- Provide field consultation services (welding and assembly) for a supplier of activated carbon systems. (Tigg Corporation, AR)
- Design and fabrication of trailer systems for local utility companies and contractors. (PA)
- Provide field construction services (design, welding and assembly) for a Pittsburgh Company. Work consisted of piping platforms, catwalks, electrical conduit racks, tank repair and general mechanical maintenance. (North American Phillips/Beazer East, Lock Haven, PA)
- Removal of 2 carbon storage vessels 12 ft. dia. X 40 ft. tall, all piping, hand rails, catwalks and supports, cleaned and sent to scrap yard. (North American Phillips/ Beazer)
- Removal of carbon system for Pittsburgh Company. Rework DNAPL system recovery into same area. (KEY Environmental Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA.
- Fabrication and assembly of above ground storage tank flocculation system for Georgia based company. (GMG Corporation, Monroeville, PA.)
- Fabrication and startup of a chromate, arsenate and pentachlorophenol removal system for a wood preserving facility. (Brown Wood Preserving, Louisville, KY)
- Assist in startup and operation of an acidification/adsorption process for the decontamination of lagoon sludge containing nitrobenzene, aniline, dichlorobenzene and other aromatics. (ACCC Lock Haven, PA)
- Onsite treatment of pesticide and herbicide contaminated water which was used to extinguish a warehouse fire. Over 250,000 gallons of subject water were treated using filtration and activated carbon. (Royster Company, St. Louis, MI)
- Installation of a carbon adsorption system for the decontamination of TNT laden water. (Tigg Corporation, Los Alamos, NM)
- Fabrication and assembly of VEP recovery system for fuel spill area on federal land. (Fort Worth, TX, IT Corporation/Shaw Environmental)
- Install carbon process system for California based company, on site at Parker, AZ. System consisted of erecting tanks, process piping, pipe stands, pump placement, installing nozzles in tanks, cleaning interior of tanks and other equipment related to the process. - Remove old floor and diffuser support area in 14 foot diameter Carbon vessel, inspect tank. Install new floor and diffuser support area in two vessels. (Beazer/North American Phillips, ACCC, Lock Haven, PA)
- Fabricate, install and startup of ground water system. (ACCC, Lock Haven, PA.)
- Fabrication and assembly of scrubber system. (PA)
- Complete installation and startup of aerobic digester system to replace existing treatment system for .5 MGD WWTP. (Butler, PA)
- Excavation and Installation of 2800 ft. long supply system, consisting of sewer, water and natural gas supply lines.(Private owner, Murrysville, PA)
- Excavation and installation of HDPE piping system for 125 GPM carbon adsorption systems. System consisted of two 20,000 pound vessels, two pumps two bag filters, one recovery well, two recharge wells, 2400 ft. HDPE pipe and other related equipment and devices. (MuRata Electric, State College, PA)
- Removal of approximately 18,000 yards of sludge in impoundment area and stabilization of bottom to PADEP specs. (ACCC, Lock Haven, PA)
- Pilot study system in overseas packing container with 35 foot tall bio-tower. (Biothane Corporation, Camden NJ.)
